Steve Breen Wins Pulitzer
Steve Breen, the staff cartoonist for the San Diego Union-Tribune, has won this year’s Pulitzer Prize for Editorial Cartooning. This is Breen’s second award, winning the first time for his cartoons in the Asbury Park Press in New Jersey in 1998.

Jim Lange: 1926-2009
The Oklahoman is reporting that Jim Lange, their long-time staff cartoonist, died late Thursday at the age of 82.

Oregonian’s Ohman Wins RFK Journalism Awards
Jack Ohman, the staff cartoonist for The Oregonian, has won this year’s Robert F. Kennedy Journalism Award for Outstanding Editorial Cartoons.

South Africa’s Top Satirist Defends Cartoonist
