Police Summon South Korean Cartoonist Over Threats in Cartoon
A Korean cartoonist identified a Choi has been issued a summons and asked to turn himself in by the Wonju Police Station for inserting insulting and potentially threatening phrases about South Korean President Lee Myung-bak into a cartoon.

Iran Continues Crackdown of Cartoonists, Journalists
Throughout Iran, we’re receiving reports that newspapers are being suspended and Iranian journalists are being arrested.

‘New Rule: If you’re a cartoonist and have to put a button on Obama that says “Obama”, you have to get another job.’
Even though this “New Rules” segment by Bill Maher called ‘Suck of the Draw’ initially aired back in May, from time-to-time I still see cartoons featuring Barack Obama with his name clearly labeled somewhere in the cartoon. News Corp. Forms Diversity Council After Critics Slam Controversial Cartoon
