Video: Stantis Draws for the Chicago Tribune

Here is a great time-lapse video from The Chicago Tribune of their cartoonist, Scott Stantis (view his cartoons here), drawing one of his terrific cartoons from the initial pencil sketches to the finished product.

What I would be really interested in, is the process of how the idea for the cartoon comes about. The greatness of the cartoonist is not so much his drawing, but his/her original thought provoking vision…
